AWARE Properties was created to assist the thousands of women who rang Lucille Orr after reading
her book "How to Ask for What You Want and GET IT!"
Most callers asked Lucille to help them create their own small business. Since writing the book in 1994
Lucille has been researching business opportunities for women and in 2000 decided the best business
for women was a Real Estate Associate owned entirely by women for women.
Women understand the needs of the family and therefore women are becoming more and more important in the
real estate industry as Property Managers, Sales Professionals and Property Developers.
There are many different avenues available to women who want to work in the real estate industry and
AWARE is helping women to understand how their natural gifts and talents can be expressed in this
rapidly expanding industry.
An AWARE Associate is continually educated, motivated and provided with up to date information on
industry TRENDS especially relating to SELLING to WOMEN.
Lucille Orr has written and published a book titled "AWARE - Australian Women and Real Estate"
to help you understand how you can work in the industry and start your own business. The book highlights
many opportunities available for women and explains how your past career or business experience can
